Who is the experience for?

For those who want to meet Mafalda again.
For those who are about to discover her for the first time.
To share as a family.
Each generation finds its own way of experiencing it in this experience.

The concept
Mafalda was always universal. Her questions cross generations, cultures, and languages. What Quino drew remains one of the most lucid and moving perspectives on what it means to be human.
Mafalda Immersive was born out of a need: to connect Mafalda with new generations. And it also arose from a question, which turned it into a project: what would happen if that universe could be inhabited? The answer is a living, sensory, and shared entertainment experience where Quino's work meets the languages that technology makes possible today.
A world-scale project that has its premiere at the Centro Cultural Recoleta in Buenos Aires, one of the most emblematic spaces in Latin America, from where it will begin its international tour. Mafalda always belonged to the world. Now the world will be able to enter her.

The Experience
Everything that was once paper and ink now comes to life with color, volume, and sound. And you can experience it.
Everything that was once paper and ink now comes to life with color, volume, and sound. And you can experience it.
Mafalda Immersive is an entertainment experience for all ages that takes you inside her universe. For 60 minutes, you will explore 1,300 m² divided into 13 rooms designed to activate all your senses: set designs and volumetric sculptures, 360° projections with surround sound, multi-user virtual reality, interactive touch screens, and original music composed for the experience.
A playful and fantasy world created to revive Quino's universe.
You walk through her bedroom, pass by Manolo's grocery store, and wander through her city. The smells, the textures, the sounds all around you. You are right there with Mafalda.
